Boost Strategic Coaching was founded in 2016 by Daria Malin, who has grown it into a powerhouse team of dynamic facilitators and dedicated, lean yet powerful operations and customer service specialists.
Our facilitators are not just trainers; they are seasoned experts with over a century of combined experience. Their diverse backgrounds encompass communications, tourism, real estate, finance, franchise systems, and advertising, providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise that enriches every program.

Meet the Founder
Navigate marketing challenges with confidence. Meet Daria Malin (she/her), the visionary force behind Boost Strategic Coaching and author of the book, Hands-On Marketing: The Small Business Owner’s Guide to Advertising & Branding.
Daria’s journey began in her family’s DQ franchise in Saskatoon, Canada, and she later obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of Saskatchewan. Upon graduation, she entered the financial services industry, then transitioned to and worked in media advertising sales.
With 16 years of experience in advertising, Daria built and rebuilt her business after three maternity leaves, demonstrating her resilience and expertise. In 2016, driven by a passion for empowering professionals to succeed, she established Boost Strategic Coaching.
Daria’s diverse experience includes creating four successful brands, including co-founding an apparel company in 2018 and the multi-national non-profit organization, Ukrainian Patriot , in 2022. Beyond her career, Daria is a passionate supporter of the arts, diversity and inclusion, and the ongoing efforts to support Ukraine.
Through her contributions, she has played a vital role in the growth of numerous businesses, proving her dedication to fostering success in others. Her mission is to equip entrepreneurs and professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to maximize their potential.
When she’s not busy with Boost, Daria enjoys singing and dancing on stage in musical theatre productions, cheering on her 3 teen and young adult children in their arts and sports pursuits, paddleboarding around the family cabin in Northern Saskatchewan, gardening, and playing beach volleyball (usually not all at the same time 😉).

Daria is the founder of Boost Strategic Coaching and author of Hands-On Marketing. A coach, trainer, and speaker with a background in media, finance, and sales, she also co-founded the global nonprofit, Ukrainian Patriot. Daria is a dedicated leader who is grateful for her amazing core team, facilitators, and the incredible clients who trust Boost with their critical business growth navigation every day.
Shvaughn Welch
Business Manager
Shvaughn is the operational backbone of Boost, blending business systems with tech strategy to ensure smooth operations. With a background in Information systems, she specializes in streamlining processes, integrating tools, and supporting coaching programs. She’s passionate about her family and doing any activities that involve being outside in nature.
Becca Nguyen
Client Relations Manager
Becca brings years of executive support and operations experience to her role at Boost. With a marketing degree and a strong background in systems and communication, she is instrumental in keeping everything running efficiently behind the scenes. Outside of work, she's a busy mom of two boys and loves spa days to recharge and reset.
Sandra Herriot
Chief Delivery Officer
Sandra is a coach and strategist with experience in over 55 countries. At Boost, she helps teams deliver impactful training with clarity and purpose.Sandra excels at turning big visions into actionable plans and brings dynamic energy to every session. Off the clock, she enjoys photography, visiting vineyards, and great conversations.
