Do They Call You When They Need You?

The ultimate goal of marketing is to make sure that your business is the one that your prospects think of FIRST and feel the BEST about when they need what you sell.  This is why we call it branding, and it means that you will have more people reaching out to you and more revenue coming in.

You have successfully branded your business when your name is a RED-HOT CATTLE BRAND burned onto the memory of one individual client and when your potential clients feel the way you want them to feel about your company; when they know exactly how your company can serve them.

Everyone from Google to your local t-shirt printer to the guy who will take care of your social media is offering to help brand your business. Most of them focus on your name, logo, tagline, colors, and the fancy pens you ordered with your phone number on them. But these features only help build your brand when meaning is attached. While they are all important brand elements, they are not the entirety of branding all by themselves. The truth is that branding is more than that.

It is the story you are telling through your messaging and the customer experience that backs it up. These are what make people attach meaning to your logo and fancy pens when they see them.

Essentially, your brand is what is being said about your business when you are not in the room.

Before you spend time choosing your colors and logo, you need to know what meaning you want people to associate with your business. What do you want people to think of when they see your brand? What do you want that story to be?

Once you’ve figured that out, start by sharing it with your friends and family. It’s time to let them know to call you first.

If you aren’t sure how to share your story, that’s where we come in. Connect with Boost Strategic Coaching today to propel your business in the right direction.
